Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth to visit our team at HDI 2010! Conference attendance was booming this year and we noticed an increase in excitement surrounding IT Service Management initiatives in 2010. We are looking forward to meeting more of the ITSM community at HP Software Universe in June and itSMF Fusion in September!

StrataCom to Present at HP Software Universe 2010

Our sessions are:

Title: UnitedHealth Group: lessons learned from a very large-scale HP Service Manager migration and implementation
Length: 1 Hour
Technical level: Intermediate (2 – 5 years experience)
Abstract: Join UnitedHealth Group and StrataCom for a presentation about a large-scale migration from HP Service Desk to HP Service Manager. They’ll share the architecture of their massive implementation that allowed them to scale to such magnitude; unique aspects of their situation and how that impacted their implementation approach; and key lessons learned. You’ll learn what to avoid and what to consider for a successful migration and get specific, strategic, and insightful information on key areas of customization and important integrations such as HP Universal CMDB and HP OVO. And you’ll come away with a clear understanding of the value and new functionality your can get by migrating to Service Manager.

StrataCom Facilitates Minneapolis User Group

StrataCom, together with Hewlett Packard, has created a user group serving the greater Minnesota area and focusing on HP’s IT Service Management solutions: Service Manager, ServiceCenter, and Service Desk. Going forward the user group will be run by a board of users.

The user group held it’s first meeting on October 2, 2009 at Fico in the northern Twin Cities. Attendance was impressive for an initial meeting and included around 35 individuals from a dozen organizations. The next meeting is scheduled for January 29th and additional companies have already confirmed their plans to attend.
